Wow! They fixed the problem. This is the way it looked before. Note the difference in the camera 1 photo. That's the way my web browser Arlo battery level used to look. It looked, TO ME, like a hollow rectangle with a dot in the center. Now it looks like the above screen shot.
Thanks for fixing this! Now, to make a REAL improvement provide a percentage gauge, like on a smart phone, and include instructions on how to determine the battlery level in the instruction manual and, well, numbnuts like me won't be here complaining about this matter.

Elijah_Ariel,
At this time, battery level is depicted using a meter across all clients(web and mobile app). This meter does not use a number or percentage when indicating battery level. A percentage or number to indicate battery level in addition to the meter is a good idea. I encourage you to visit the Arlo Idea Exchange and make a post there about this topic.
Thank you for your contribution,
JamesC

Okay, I now see what is going on. I kept telling the support person that I see no "bars" on my computer screen. She NEVER TOLD ME that you only see the bars using the smart phone app. I look at my smart phone Arlo app and the battery indicator is fully green. Yup, there are the "bars". However, it would indeed be a VERY GOOD IDEAD to have a power percentage meter for the battery on the smart phone app AND on the computer web app just like with smart phones.

Compared to the way it looks like on my smart phone that does NOT look like bars to me. On my smart phone that whole rectange is green and the bars are very clearly delineated. Share a picture of what it looks like on a smart phone and you can easily see the difference. I still say that the battery indicator should look just like the battery level on a smart phone with a percentage gauge next to the battery indicator.
And there is NO EXCUSE for not including clear instructions, in the manual, about how to tell the condition of the batteries.
((( NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER!!!! )))
It should be clearly shown in the instruction manual, PERIOD!!!!
I see NOTHING WHATSOEVER in the table of contents about the battery levels. It doesn't mention batteries AT ALL in the table of contents!!! Now, of course, you are going to say it does, right? I JUST CHECKED!!!
THERE IS NOTHING IN THE TABLE OF CONTENTS THAT SAYS BATTERY LEVEL

I still don't understand why, when I originally checked my smart phone Arlo app, the battery gauge was green. I know it was green. I wasn't hallucinating. Then the next time I checked...it wasn't green anymore. Heck, it doesn't really matter. I now clearly see three bars on both my phone app and the web app. That's good enough for me. Now that I know what's up I won't be complaining about this matter anymore. New people to Arlo may have a problem, but that will be THEIR PROBLEM, not mine. Amen!!
