If I buy an arlo system are you going to do the same as you did with vuezone, After a year I have to buy a new system?

Guess that depends on when you buy. I've had mine for getting on to a year and a half now...

They stopped supporting it and urged the owners to upgrade to the Arlo. I was one of them. All this with false hopes of Arlo being what VueZone was supposed to be. Yet again, we're in about the same boat as before.

Anyone know the lifespan of the Arlo service? If they shut down the cloud service the Arlo will be compeltly useless!

Just a note that the new Arlo Q Plus has built-in SD card support. Whether that would work long-term without access to the cloud is unknown.

Probably the same way the VueZone has a USB port we cannot use, oh wait.... Arlo has that too !
