I'm in the market for a survelliance camera system and am very insterested in the Arlo cameras. I read somewhere that there's a possibility of these camera's being able to synch with z-wave control panels eventually. Is that true? Would an update be applied to the current camera's or you think new camera's will be released with the z-wave built-in?

Only time will tell, I am crossing my fingers and hope that NetGear will make this come to fruition.

Count me in for the hope of this integration too! I'm thinking of returning my newest camera (Nest Cam) and going to the Arlo system. Right now we're running Nest Cam, Dropcam Pro, Withings Home and a Dlink. I would like to get most of our cameras on the same system and want to have some outdoor coverage... hence the idea of doing the Arlo 4 cam system. My one issue is that NONE of the cameras I have work with the home automation system I have in place (Smartthings) and none even have IFTTT support.
If Arlo were to jump into either game I'd be buying in a heartbeat!
