If I purchase 5 wireless cameras with a base station, can I add on 2 of the audio cameras with same base? Also, is there a limit to how many camera's the base can have because if I choose to add another wireless will it work or do I have to purchase another base station?

FYI- Do your homework before you get buy the product.
1- Technical Supoort do not respone if you're having issues.
2- Motion Detection take 3-7 seconds to start recording. (That is the biggest problem- 3-7 seconds is way too long- anything could happen during that time)
3- Batteries are very very expense.
4. Yes it is very easy to setup that is why it's rated so high other than that it's not really a reliable security system.
5. Search the Community fourm at see what people have to say about this product.

YMMV. While there are certainly complaints and issues, there's also a lot that are working just fine. Is it due to the particular installation or failure to RTFM as well as to follow directions - who knows? I have 3 wireless and 1 Q with few issues. Sure, I'd like to change things but then I'd do that to a Ferrari, too.

To answer the Q question, they have nothing to do with the base station. They are completely self-contained and only need power and WiFi (the Q Plus can use Ethernet for both power and/or connection). The base supports up to 15 cameras but only 5 can stream at once. If you're going past 5 cameras for the free place , you'll need to purchase CVR for the Q cameras and/or use a second base station that's set up to a second email address. If you do that, you can (mostly) see and control all cameras in one app/web login but takes a guest account on one system to do so. Not hard, just a little putting. Otherwise, purchase one of the paid subscriptions to your satisfaction.
