white band blocking top third of camera view when in full screen..can't remove it...why on Earth??? this is a new problem, they broke what didn't need fixing all in the name of a useless information bar. When I'm trying to see camera activity I don't want a white band offering me setting options
I want one third of my money back.

I see what you mean, But I find it neither large nor intrusive.

I suppose it depends on what you're trying to see. It's blocking objects that I need to surveil. I don't have an option to move the camera because I am surveilling objects in different locations with the same camera. At any rate that should be irrelevant. They shouldn't cover up the screen with something that can't be removed, it would be just as easy to have a pull down menu.

be ironic if they added bar because people requested it

It wouldn't be inconceivable.

The settings bar within the camera widget does not block any of the viewable area within the cameras field of view. This bar is simply added above the cameras field of view, none of the scene is lost.

that may be the case on your phone, not on mine, someone else already confirmed tbe same condition as mine in an earlier post.

Maybe you should explain what phone/OS you have. My Nexus 6 phone and Nexus 10 tablet have no issues.

mart-ian,

While I do not have a note 4 specifically to test this, all Android mobile phones should display this the same way. Can you post a screenshot of what you are describing?
