In the last 24 hours, the message "the camera failed to connect" appears when trying to access by computer the "VIEW" function for all of my five cameras. Within the last 12 hours, however, I have received images by e-mail and in the Arlo "LIBRARY" from the same cameras when triggered by passing vehicles.  How can I restore the "VIEW" function to from my computer?  Many thanks for any suggestions.

Try Google Chrome though you will need to manually allow Flash for the arlo.netgear.com site as it will be disabled by default

What do you mean by "veiw" - live view or videos in the library? I assume you mean live view.

Is this the app or a browser? Have you tried both? A browser may have an issue with virtually all recent updates turning Flash off by default so you need to make sure it's enabled inside each browser. In either case (app or browser), try logging out and back in.

Many thanks for your suggestions.  Having just enabled Flash on and, then, logged out and back into the Firefox browser, the same problem persists with Live view.  When trying to view, the following messages appear for each of the five cameras: either "The camera failed to connect" or "The request timed out".   Why is this occuring even though I am still receiving pictures by e-mail as well as in my Arlo account's Library?

Dear Steve,

Thank you very much for the suggestion.  Can now activate the "Live" viewing function with Chrome.  Would you have an idea why it abruptly stopped functioning with Firefox within one day? Best regards.

Unsure sorry. I can only speculate that it has something to do with Flash. If you have time, head to the Ideas Exchange section and find the post that says Netgear needs to move to HTML5 and stop using Flash! and give the idea kudos.
