original arlo cameras - some cameras wont sync anymore

Hi there 

I purchased an arlo security system when they first came out. Some of the cameras wont sync anymore. Ive tried to remove and then add back and it still will not work.

I went and purchased two new arlo essential spotlight camera, i cannot add these either. Please help

WHat base do you have? I suspect it's the original VMB3000 (look on the bottom of the base). The Essential cameras won't sync to that base (needs at least a VMB4000) but can sync directly to your home WiFi. Have you tried that?

If you still want the original cameras to work, try reinserting fresh batteries but only lightly place them in the slots so the battery door does the pushing. Then briefly press the base sync button (don't hold it) followed by a camera sync button. What do you see on both the base and camera?
