Despite applying the most conservative battery saving setting, I have one camera which flattens batteries after 3 weeks. I have swapped it with other cameras in other locations but no success. Any suggestions, or is it a warranty job?

If the others are fine and you already swapped locations AND the problem continued with the same camera, Yes.

You didn't indicate if the "flatten" location records more video than the others so I point out the following as an area to look at.

It might not be the battery and it might be how much it records. I have a unit that lasts for about 3 weeks also. It records 30 second clips in Max Quality about 40 times a day(?). So that's about 20 minutes of recording per day. My other camera records also does 30 second clips but it only has about 10 clips per day or 5 minutes. Recoding is the real killer I've found out. Put it in Live mode and you can almost watch the battery drain. That's why it comes preinstalled at 10 second recording. Makes it look like you can actually attain a 4 month battery life if it doesn't record too often.
