no Arlo alerts outside WiFi

When cell is out of range of the wifi I cannot get any alerts or connection to the cameras - all is fine when cell phone iswithin range of the wifi

Do you have DATA turned on and is the APP given permission to use same ?

Thank you, but Where do you turn the data on - I could not find it anywhere in the manual or troubleshooting

Turn on DATA usage in your phone... what phone do you have?

This assumes that you have data included in your cell phone plan..... are you sure you do?

I have a I phone 6S - in settings on the Arlo app cellular data is on along with all other options except location in/out notifications.

Yes I do  I can stream videos and listen to music on line and all that stuff

I am at work and not on wifi and it started working. I have not changed anything - must be magic. Thank you for helping me through this
