I am using them now (finaly got from amazon - $30 for 4). They fit very well - like non rechagable.  I can not say much about performance - need to run them few cycles.

It is very new, not even sure available yet ( last time I looked it was pre order ).

But many users have used 3.7 li-ion 16340 cells ( which is what they are ) with great success.

Main thing to remember is that 1) these are approved by Netgear 2) since the capacity of these are about 1/2 the OEM non-rechargeables you may have to change them about every two months ( typical to rechargeables )

I just got them. I was told not to charge them and put them right in and charge them after the first use. They are showing up in the battery signal half charged, and I just put them in. I guess I should have charged them! I will keep you guys posted on how they work out. I have everything set on the lowest battery usage possible so they last a bit. Make sure you buy the specific gold colored tenergy batteries they itemize. I tried the other tenergy ones and they only worked once. They were rechargeable but didn't work after first use.
