date time stamp on downloaded files

I noticed that when I download a file to save it, it does not include the date and time stamp?  Am I missing something?  It is impractical for me to manually add the date and time to the download file name everytime I download a file, this should be included, am I missing something?

The filename is the date in seconds from the Epoch. You can use http://www.epochconverter.com/ to convert or use the Android app to download which names it by camera and date (as well as time and Epoch time).  Don't think the iOS version does this.

Why do we have to use a 3rd party web page to convert date and time?
This is a simple thing to use local time as file name.

After spending a lot of money on this system I finding unnecessary annoyance.

The Android app (dunno about iOS) gives you a human-readable timestamp. I also have a Python script written by someone else that automatically downloads all of yesterday's files that does the conversion for you.  I'd prefer to see the filename being consistent across devices and with reasonable naming but there are workarounds.
