i am having trouble connecting my new Arlo security system with a base station to my account that has an Arlo Q Wi Fi camera. i go through the process of adding a new device and syncing the camera to the base staion but never see any video or new devices listed in my device list.

Try removing the base and any non-Q cameras from Settings, My Devices. Hold the reset button on the base until the LEDs flash amber and try again using the Add Device button in the Devices tab to start fresh. It may be a firmware issue so verify that all firmware is up to date by checking everything in My Devices and confirming the versions with those posted in the Release Notes section here.
