battery percent

Is there any way to see battery percent (ex: "99%") rather than the little icon?  I'd like to judge how much is getting used over a months time on the batteries, and the little icon is not useful for that.

On the PC ( not sure if IOS or Android ) under SETTINGS then camera , the % of battery is displayed on the first line
