want to grant access to my girlfriends mobile on my account as an add-on,when i go to settings and click on grant access i put her name -email and click on invite it just says pending and goes no further

She gets an email and has to act on a link inside to accept and set her account up. Until that happens, it will stay pending. Once she completes the process status will change to accepted.

What if I don't want my grantees to have access to the library?

Don't grant them access in the first place. Why would you want to give access to someone that can't see the videos?
