Wireless cameras' magnet mounts don't hold well on trees?

Hello.

Is it me or do Arlo's wireless camera magnetic mounts do not hold well nailed onto big trees? Recently, a camera fell because of the enlarged hole as shown in http://imgur.com/a/syhhy photo(graph)s.

I would use a screw so tightness can be adjusted as needed...

Look like plastic fatigue and breakage... maybe a normal pedestal mount would be better suited

Yeah, screws were used into the trees. 😞 Although, small birds do like to sit on top the cameras.
