Have notified Netgear support that wireless cameras will not sync. Prior to going to support I have done most things suggested by other users without obtaining a positive result.

I have seen where this issue is very common, apparently going back to the introduction of the product yet still it its seems to be a very, almost daily, complaint.

I am waiting for a Netgear response and weighing whether to package the whole thing up and send it back. In the meantime while I wait I am going to investigate Nest.

I fixed it or it fixed itself. Cameras apparently now synced. But I cannot test it because now the app will not let me open the base device change device mode. It seems with each step there are difficulties.

I see where this is another common complaint dating back to the inception of the product.

My experience with this product over the last week since it arrived is the worst I can ever remember and judging by community issues and feedback many of the problems I have encountered are not unusual and date back years.

I am really considering putting an end to what looks like years of frustration with this Netgear product.

I am having the same issue.  Camera will not synch.  Read the troubleshooting provided by community, nothing has worked.  Reset, rebooted, verified router working.  I am ready to send this product back and advise others considering this product not to purchase.

What LEDs on the base are lit and what color? Do the camera LEDs give a quick blue flash when closing the battery door? When you press the base sync button, are you just briefly pressing it? Don't hold it.

The first two LEDs are lit Green.  The third LED that should iluminate green when you pross the synch button on the base will not turn green.  The camera has a flashing blue light, but becasue the base synch LED doesn't ligh up it will not Synch.  I have press briefly so many times I have unplugged and ready to send back.

Try resetting the base using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber and try again.
