When did a siren get added to the base station?

I have an older base station, VMB3000...working fine but I keep seeing references to a siren on the community pages, and I don't believe the VMB3000 has a siren. Is the siren on the VMB5000 loud enough to be worth getting an upgraded base station?

It is the VMB4000 (Pro 2 hub) that has the siren.

There is no alarm on the VMB5000 (Ultra hub).

There is a siren in the Ultra camera itself, but it is not very loud.  It will inform someone nearby that they've been spotted, but you (or your neighbors) aren't likely to hear it.
