What is this new App?

My husband was in the security settings on his app and it forced him to upgrade.  WOW totally different user interface than the one I had ( I updated too for reasons) then almost immediately, the hub went offline and all of our cameras wend own as well.  6 hours of him screaming and freaking out we finally got our doorbell back on the app, but it is laggy and non responsive with the audio. 

 

We figured since I am the account owner had I "share" with him I should do the sneaky  app upgrade as well.  Keep in mine that before I did this his WEB INTERFACE was updated as well and mine was not! Now the Smart Hub wont stay online and or connect to the cameras. 

The "Dashboard" on the new app is complete garbage and we are trying to go back.  You cant mass delete saved videos anymore either.  Does anyone test these updates???? 

 

Why are all my Smart hub Lights green yet the Hub shoes OFFLINE on the app and web?

Why can we not turn on and off cameras in the app anymore?

Actually, you can.

  • Navigate to the "Feed" page
  • Press the three dots in the upper right, and select "manage events"
  • You can then select all the videos you want to delete.  If you select the day, then all videos for that day are deleted.

Note if you filter the feed first, you'll only delete the visible videos.  So you can use the filter to select specific cameras and/or notification types.

Again, you can (for devices you could turn off before)

  • Navigate to the devices screen
  • Select the camera
  • press the settings wheel

You'll see a control to turn the cameras on/off there.

No idea on this one,  Did you try power cycling the smarthub?
