What does the # 1 mean on my Arlo app icon on cell phone?

I have the original Arlo (uses the CR 123 batteries). On my cell Arlo app, a # 1 (red) appeared a few days ago. I don't know what it means or how to get rid of it. FIRMWARE: 1.5.295, HARDWARE H11 if that helps.

This sounds like the notification badge on iOS. Check your library, do you have a new, unviewed recording?
