What does number 1 mean on upper right of Arlo icon on my phon (Android) and how do I get rid of

I can't figure out why the number "1" is appearing on my Arlo icon app. It's like what you normally see when you have messages in e-mail. I don't have any Arlo messages that I can find, can't find any alerts or notifications...Would be nice if Arlo indicated what the 1 means when I tap on the icon. I logged out of the app on my phone and longed back in, but the number 1 still shows up. How do I get the "1" to disappear?

Usu it's the number of new recordings..go to the cameras and look at the top right side circle ( next to gear ) and look for a number....click on it to filter just that camera

go to the library and look at all

I deleted all the recordings, number next to gear for each camera shows zero.  Number 1 still showing on phone icon. Turned all cameras off, back on and off again. Still no success.

It was a notification on my phone. Duh!  Problem solved.
