If you have a newer base ( not a 3000 model) the mem card will hold the same vids that go to the 7 day cloud except they do not get erased. ( till card is full or you choose it to overwrite the old when 80%full )

you can pull the mem stick and view in most computers.

If you have a base that accepts it, the usb memory is a backup to the cloud... any triggered event goes to both there and cloud.

Nice if you have the basic level of 7 days storage....cause a 64gb speed stick will retain a couple months worth

Thank you Guru, So I did install a 64gb, but does this mean that if I still only see 7 days on the APP, there is actually more collecting on the USB than I see on the APP?
