VMC3030 Motion detection stopped working and can't be disabled

Hi,

 

All of a sudden the motion detection for the ARLO wire-free camera has stopped working and both the Android app and web interface won't allow the motion detection to be turned off. Clicking on the dialog box as per below does not allow the tick to be deselected.

 

Trying to add a new mode also does not allow the trigger option for 'Motion is detected' to be toggled on or off.

 

The Battery is good and camera can do a live view.

 

Any help would be appreciated?

Power button reboot the base....

 

If that doesn't work, you may have to remove the camera in settings, then bring it back as new.

Please let us know if you're still experiencing this issue after a base station reboot (using the on-off button).

I have tried, both a reboot and re-adding the camera. Could you please confirm that it is possible to disable motion detection temporarily within the mode settings 'Detects Motion' dialogue box. The camera would then still be available for live view but would not detect motion. Thanks

if you disarm the camera you can still live view but motion detection will not start recording.
