My VMB4000 base station and four VMC4030 cameras died at the end of last year after working perfectly for years. It won't work on IOS, MacOS or IPadOS. I haven't had time to try and sort it out until now.

I've tried all the options to restart and disconnect them, bar de-installing and re-installing from the system.

I came on the forum to seek advice and for the first time came across End of Life Policy. I've had no email or other contacts on this.

Will EOL be the reason? Is there no point in trying further?

Does anyone have any hints or tips please?

Eventually a factory reset on the base station, then reinstalling everything, worked.

it was simply weird that it just stopped working and all that was needed.

The process was actually really simple once I’d located a spare paper clip.

EOL means the devices won't get updates, not that they just stop working.

WHat are the LEDs on the base showing?

The lights are all green, static.

The cameras are all offline, but I assumed that was because the base station is the same.

Try rebooting the base first to see if that helps. Try using the web client (my.arlo.com) to see if anything is different. Are you getting notifications of recordings?
