Hi,
I just noticed that, within the last few days, my arlo system is showing up as offline. Is there any software-related reason this might occur? The library shows no recordings, should I be concerned? I'm guessing there is no way to remotely trigger the device so I guess I have no cameras until I return.
Thanks for your time

Does the base station still show up and has a full list of settings in Settings, My Devices, including the Restart button at the bottom? If so, restarting the base would be your only option. There are various possibilities for this - a power and/or Internet outage as well as dead batteries. If the base is offline, the cameras may have dead batteries since they'd be trying to connect to the base, wearing the bateeries out. If you can't restart, you'll either have to wait till you're home or have someone with access check things out, starting with what LEDs are lit on the base and what color.
For future consideration, especially if you're traveling, is to use a UPS for your modem, router and base to fly through power outages. Also, a WiFi swicth such as a WeMo can be used on the power cord to the base so you can remotely turn power off and back on for the base, which may be the cure for your current situation.

The base is listed in the devices but does not have a restart option, just the serial #, model #, and xCloudID; the Firmware version is blank. The batteries were just replaced a couple weeks ago, were near full as of 5 days ago and I did not recieve a low battery warning as I have in the past. We've had power blinks before and the system has restarted on its own. Plus there are no outages at the moment. Hopefully its just an internet problem that requires a router reset.

Then yer out of luck unless you can get someone to power cycle the base (after checking your Internet connection). Power glitches/outages have caused others to have working Internet but Arlo gets stuck. That's the reason for the UPS and/or WiFi switch, to help prevent that from happening in the first place.
If the base hasn't been responding to the cameras for a long time, expect to see the batteries depleted, too, since the cameras will keep searching for the base.
