Hello,

I have two Arlo Ultra 2 cameras, a VMB5000 base station, and a wireless router. I do not need to access the camera ever through the internet- only locally.

I'm looking to connect to the WiFi network (again, not connected to the internet), and access the recordings of the camera that were recorded on the SD card on the base. If I need to connect my computer to the base to view the recordings, that'd be OK. Lastly, if I had to pop out the SD card and view on my computer, well, that'd be OK too.

Can I accomplish this with the VMB5000 & Arlo Ultra 2 cameras?

Thank you.

Arlo offers a cloud service, and you cannot access the cameras at all unless both the smarthub and your phone (or PC) are connected to the internet.

You can use local storage for the recordings (just don't get the subscription).  But you will still need an internet connection.
