I definitely made the mistake of updating the Arlo app recently. What a disaster. I think the biggest disaster is that it removed my 2nd security system location. I have another property with 4 cameras and a base station. Now, everything is under the home location, even the 2nd base station. I tried adding another location to move those 4 cameras under the way it was, BUT IT WANTS ME TO GET A WHOLE NEW SUBSCRIPTION? This can't be right. I didn't really just update an app and now being hustled for an extra $13 per month to have the privilege of using the products I was already using just fine before the update....am I???

FWIW, this was always in the terms of service. But the app didn't enforce it, so generally it was ignored.
That said, personally I think Arlo shouldn't require an additional subscription until you add a third location.

Really? That's interesting. I was even talking to an arlo rep when I setup the 2nd location 2 years ago and subscription plan for all the cameras, and he never mentioned needing a completely separate plan for the 2nd address and base station. Instead of paying arlo more money, I think I'll just get rid of all the arlo equipment and give my money to a better company. Blink seems to be mentioned a lot on here for one plan that includes all locations and cameras. Or Eufy, which has really good reviews and good prices.
