Arlo told me I now have to purchase a maintenance contract between $100 to $250 a year to keep my cameras firmware updated so I can use the cloud that I pay $9.99 a month for!  My cameras quit recording May 1st and the say they are out of date and need to be updated and I can't do it on my own, but with a maintenance contract with them!  Anyone else have this issue?

As a guess you contacted a scam operator.
Access to arlo support is now via the arlo App.
