This same thing was also happening with the app but was recently resolved. What I found is that on the app you are now able to live stream while a motion triggered recording is in progress, but on the web portal you still receive the message that "live streaming is currently in use by another device", as shown in the pic below...oddly  enough, on the web portal, you are able to live stream the video doorbell but not the four other cameras.
Note that this began at the same time as in the app and was mentioned on that same post but, unlike the app, it was not resolved.

I’ve had my Arlo Pro 4 cameras for about 5–6 years, and they’ve always worked the way they’re supposed to (For the most part).. They’re set to record for 2 minutes whenever motion is detected, and I used to be able to immediately open the dashboard on my PC, click play, and watch the live feed without any issues. Over the past couple of weeks, though, something has changed. Now when motion is detected and recording starts, I go to the web dashboard, click play, and get a message saying the camera is being used by another device. There’s no way to override it or start a live view from my PC. The strange part is that the mobile app still works finn,,,I can open it and watch live without any problem. But the web version won’t let me. This completely defeats the purpose. If something is happening at my house, I need to be able to check it live right away,,,,,not wait two minutes and hope the recording captured it. If the event is already over, watching it afterward isn’t nearly as useful. This really needs to be fixed.

Can you please provide what web browser you are currently using? As well as do you mind sending a screenshot of what you are seeing?

@Captain_Trips
Can't see any of your four pictures, just the yellow triangle warning symbol...although I'm sure you're seeing the same thing, as in my pic that is shown in the initial post.
@BrookeN
Just thought I'd let you know that I'm using the Edge browser...of course, after all my posts, you probably already knew that 😁

😂 Yep, mine looks just like your. Sorry if i opened a post about it and you had already posted about it, i must have missed it when looking for a fix. I hate it's happening to you also, but at the same time i'm glad it's not just me 😂. Hopefully it's resolved soon.

@Captain_Trips
I originally had opened a post back on 11/24/25 when both the app and web portal had the same issue. The issue with the app was resolved back in the end of March and that post was marked "solved", but since it was only the app issue that was resolved and not the web portal, @BrookeN asked me to start this new post which I did five days ago.
Let's hope that this gets resolved quickly and doesn't take as long as it did for the app 🤞

I’ve been trying to get them to add dark mode to the PC version for a long time. They already have it in the app, but not on desktop.

I don’t think they realize how many people chose Arlo Technologies specifically because you can access your cameras from a PC. That was the main reason I picked Arlo over other options.

There are plenty of security camera systems out there, but very few reasonably priced ones let you monitor your cameras on a computer. It feels like about 98% of them only offer a mobile app.
