When I load up my Arlo application one of the cameras show the signal strength as 2 or 3 bars and the colour is red.

I've searched the help site and community and have not found relevant support content.

The camera functions are normal and motion detect / recording has no problem.

Does anyone know what the red signal strength indicator means?

It's usually because of a weak wireless signal between your BS and the camera.. weird if it wasn't like that before and you didn't touche the camera.
Maybe you brought a new device in your network creating interferences.
You can try to move your camera around a bit and see if it still happens

Possible but fewer folks have tried that as opposed to WiFi extenders. Let us know how it works out.
