OK, ARLO...what's going on?

 

Last night, my ARLO system was working at both my property and my parent's property. 

 

This morning...neither sends a two-step verification code to either my Tracfone cell phone or my email 

 

I have made multiple attempts on both ARLO systems.

 

I am out of town and need to monitor both properties... there are no other parties who can help me do so.

 

I have a current ARLO SECURE SUBSCRIPTION on both accounts...it is too soon for your proposed end-of-life on these VMC3030 systems. Both accounts have updated hardware and software.

 

I have read other user complaints in the ARLO COMMUNITY on failed two-step verification and have taken the following actions to try to solve this:

1. Checked my Tracfone account... still have Unlimited Talk & Text & Data...service good until 4/1/2023.

2. Restarted my Tracfone phone...able to make other calls and receive other text messages.

3. Verified solid connection to WIFI

4. Verified both the phone number and the email address specified for the two-step verification

5. Made multiple attempts to log into ARLO, using two-step verification, on both systems.

6. Checked my email's Inbox and Spam files for verification code(s)...there are none

7. Checked for power outages in both locations...there are none

 

Now what?

Have you tried using a PC (browsing to my.arlo.com), and then selecting email verification?

Thanks for replying to my SOS...

 

Yes, my PC is the only method I use to access ARLO.  My Tracfone is not a smartphone.

Did somebody do SOMETHING to fix this?....the two step verification has started to work again!
