Suddenly ARLO ads are on my feed.   A LOT of ads!!!    Not only annoying, but now it takes forever for my feed to download into my phone.   I'm not finding any support to stop ads.  Chat said to check my social network ???   WTF does my social network have to do with a device that's SUPPOSED to be secure.    If anyone has found a way to stop the ads, I'd really appreciate the help.   Otherwise, prob going to buy a different system.

These in-app offers have been integrated into the flow of each app screen to avoid any disruption to the user experience. This is now part of our updated native in-app experience. Users who do not want to see these messages can upgrade to an Arlo Secure plan at www.Arlo.com.

Ridiculous. Advertising was not part of the deal when we bought these cameras years ago. How long before we'll have to sit through unskippable ads to see our cameras or even worse the cameras themselves will start playing audio ads and we will have to pay a subscription fee to stop it?

I'd like to second what the poster above said.

Amen sister!  It is so annoying.  The Arlo platform was so much better when it was still under Netgear's umbrella before the IPO.  If I wanted to pay for a subscription I would and no amount of ads is going to change that.  What it will do is cause me to look at an alternate security system when it comes time to replace this one.

Ads are there to generate additional income for Arlo. This is the case for all companies that show ads.

Same issue with the ads.. seems Arlo is trying to force a subscription service to be able to get rid of the intrusive advertisements and ads slow down access to the app to see timely security alerts (very frustrating and even dangerous).  Ever since Arlo forced me to try out the new app version a few months ago, things went downhill and there are now always multiple ads in the feed so you have to manually scroll up and wait for feed to update to be able to see most recent security alerts.  Had I known when I purchased the cameras several years ago that I would have to put up with this, I would have never purchased them.  I have recommended Arlo to friends and family in the past, but will not do so now since they have mandated their new forced ad policy which adversely affects the response time and interface of alerts in your feed....

Not a good idea and will cost you business in the long run...
