Not sure what you need. The Arlo WiFi created by the base station (think of it as another router) and cameras is completely standalone so unless you have devices that actively attack other WiFi networks nothing needs to be done. You would just need to allow the base station to have access to ports 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS) and 123 (NTP) to netgear.com.
Does this help?

I'm having an issue with a similar configuration. I have the Arlo base station and 4 wireless camera bundle and also have two Meraki wireless access points with the built in "Air Marshal" feature that contains "rogue" SSID's. I plug the base unit directly into one of the ethernet ports on the back of my cable modem and fail to get an internet connection to the base station (comes on as amber then goes off, never turns green). After multiple calls to Arlo support and my ISP tech support, I returned and replaced the base unit only to have the same issue again.
After multiple tries, I tried unplugging the Meraki AP's and the green internet light then came on for the base unit. But now the issue is that the Arlo app is not recognizing the base unit, even though the power and the internet led's are green (maybe because there's no wifi because my AP's are unplugged?).

Sounds like using a computer would be the fastest solution if it's connected via Ethernet.

richdonegan,
The Arlo app needs to be connected to the same network as the base station in order to find it. If you have a computer connected to the same network as suggested by jguerdat, you could use it to complete the setup process.

I'll try that later and see if it works then. One question though, if I connect the cameras to the base station and get everything sync'd up, then turn on my Meraki AP's (as that is my primary wireless), would I still have any issues?
And by the way, thanks for helping clear this up all! I appreciate it!

richdonegan,
The Arlo base station broadcasts a unique SSID to allow the cameras to connect to the base station. As long as this SSID is not interrupted by the Meraki AP's (the Air Marshal feature you describe above) and your base station maintains an internet connection with a solid green LED you should be fine.
