Really random and silly question but out of curiosity,
With night vision on, why does the Arlo camera make a loud clicking noise if an iPhone screen with Live camera view on, is placed directly in front of it?

Please satisfy my curiosity. Accidentally discovered it while adjusting angle

From what I understand, the sound is the mechanical IR filter moving into and out of place in the original Wireless HD cameras. I have read thet the newer Pro and Pro2 cameras no longer use a mechanical IR filter.

Nothing to do with filters on the Pro/P2 ,

you may be getting some form of digital feedback with the camera and iphone so close...

Remember the camera does have a wifi transmitter and is broadcasting in live mode
