is it me, or does anyone else have extreme difficulty screwing the Arlo camera back onto the mount after changing the battery?

I used to. Now i put a very little amount of lithium grease on the threads twice a year. Not an issue for me. It could also be that you cross threaded it one time and now the threads are not inline

if you loosen the lock screw, then turn the camera , it should go back easy the same way...you don't lose the angle setting of the mount.
