Samsung S8 not recording video on alert

My Samsung S8 has stopped recording video on any alert. It will  notify me but will not record video. This happens every couple of days and I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it again. It then works for a few days. It shows live view fine. 

I also have an iPhone and iPad and the both work fine recording video.

Any help would be appreciated, getting tired of uninstalling the app every 3 or 4 days.

Since the system appears to be working on the ipad but not the S8, leads to either an android app or S8/os issue.

 

I would contact Netgear support and see if they have an answer for the S8.
