When our batteries died in spring it was about a month before I replaced. Since replacing I no longer get email alerts with 10 second video or pic on main computer.

Make sure all firmware is up to date. Reboot the base. You may need to remove the camera from Settings, My Devices and resync.

ended up it was just the batteries.  Not a techie and I did not set up but learning.  Thank you
