I'm 4 hours away From home and just looked and noticed that my base and cameras are all offline. I went into settings to reset/restart remotely...but looks like only "remove device" is an option. Please advise....worried and desperate to get it back up remotely if possible.

If you base is offline, the remote restart button is grayed out .

There is nothing to be done without prob physical contact,  ie  unplug/plug the base.

There are two option fro remote locations that you can use.

1) use a UPS for the base and the router/modem ( I think this is best )... it would keep all 3 powered up and they will be happy during short term power outages ( at least a few hours with a mid sized ups )

2) buy a Wemo outlet plug...then the base gets plugged into it... Wemo works via wifi to your router so the pwoer and router must be working.

It allows you to remotely " unplug-plug "

There is a RESTART button in the settings for the base station. Try that. If you can't find it in your app, it's definitely there in the web browser

It is greyed out on my app and not even an option on the browser. Any ideas why that would happen?

Are you able to remotely log into your modem/router?
