Old System - New Cameras

I have an older model VMB4000r3 with a older camera (like 3-4 years old).  Before a buy a new camera that look different, can I buy a new camera to work with an old base system?

The vmb4000 is compatible with the newer cameras, read article attached.

the 7days free cloud storage feature ended back in 2018 for ultra and subsequent cameras.
