To fully reset the base, hold in the reset button for ten secs or so till the front leds flash amber...then let reboot

If the base station is on your account, log in to your Arlo account and navigate to Settings > My Devices > select your base station > Remove Device. This will automatically initiate a factory reset of the base station. You can then add it back to your account using the "Add Device" button on the "Devices" screen.
If you are still having trouble adding the base back to your account, you can manually reset using the method described above.
