Re: No geofencing option on mobile

Hi, 

 

so i have the arlo cameras since a while, and on my last 3 mobile devices i could see and use the geofencing withtou problem.

I now have a new mobile phone (xiaomi mi mix 2) in which,  in /Mode there is no sight of the geofencing option (only armed, disarmed, schedule)

 

- I did reinstall arlo a few time

- GPS and localisation is on

- Arlo has full access rights to localisaiton 

- Arlo has notification rights

- Arlo is excluded from power saving 

- Rebooted the base station once

 

funny is that even when armed, arlo is not even sending notificaitons on this mobile phone

Hi,

 

All permissions are okay, latest android 7.1.1 i guess

 

I found something corrupted in the google packages, push service seemed broken

so i did a factory reset, and it all works fine now

It kinda sounds like the app installation is goobered. Try reinstalling the app and restarting the phone.

Which version of Android does your new phone run? Are all permissions for the app set correctly?
