No Push notification when leaving/entering Geofencing?

In the last week or last update i don't receive any notification when leaving or entering geofencing.

Is this a BUG that you are aware off and will be fixed soon?

 

(Push notifications is enabled in "modes" and Geofencing Location in/out on IOS phone in the app)

I haven't gotten a GF notification of entering/leaving or the mode change associated with that for a long time. AFAIK, I've made no change to any settings to cause this. The Library or Feed does show the mode change.

I have the exact same issue.

I am on iOS latest version 18.4.1 and use Arlo app version 6.0.2. released on 1 May 2025.

I have the issue for a longer time.

It used to work perfect, than it became random (notification for some of the devices) and now no at all.

I have not changed any settings.

I have deleted the Arlo app, turned off/on my iPhone and installed the Arlo app again. This did not solve the issue. I have been searching the internet and this community for a solution. So far without success.

I simply don't understand why this does not work.

What I do see and maybe not related is that under Geofencing: Notifications - Push notifications: the number between the brackets is higher than the number of devices selected. There is no way to correct this.

I have the same problem. I do not receive a sound notification when entering or leaving the geolocation area. On the other hand, I receive written messages on my phone and the geolocation seems to work (my dog's barking in my absence gave rise to a sound notification and a written message)

We report notification incidents but for Arlo "everything is fine"!!!

I recently upgraded to Iphone 16 PRO and then stopped receiving in and out geofencing notifications. They were working just fine before the switch. The geofencing still works, just no notifications. I have checked all settings, deleted and reinstalled the app, but nothing has worked. I would like to know if this is a bug also.

Hi there, Im NOT receiving any notification sound or message from my devices when entering or leaving the geofencing area with my Alro system. Super annoying to have to check all the time that it’s either armed or disarmed, and I'm usually driving. 

 

On another note, developers need to add to the system a reboot schedule option, this would have your support calls if we could schedule the system to do a reboot as it normally rectifies any issues with cameras.

May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.
