Why has my Arlo 4 camera system stopped recording and sending emails?

Are the running men in the Devices tab for each camera gray or black?  If gray, recording is disabled.  Check your enabled mode to ensure it's still enabled or the schedule is set correctly.  Restarting the base may help.

I am having the same problem, restarted everything and checked all settings. Everything is turned on and yet it won't record but does detect motion

Restarting base fixed the problem.

Can you live stream your cameras and manually record? Does that produce content in the library?

 

Do you see the same behavior from other browser/devices? Be sure you do not have a library filter set (if you do this may be hiding the recordings you are expecting to see).

 

Are you still seeing this behavior?

I am having this problem also. I reset everything, both my devices are having the same problem. My library filter has green check marks on all options. I can manually record and it does show up in library. My cameras all detect motion just not showing up in library.

Check your modes/rules and make sure they are set up correctly to produce a recording.

 

To further isolate the issue, you might consider, recreating a custom mode from scratch and test that mode to see if you still get the same results.

I tried all these things and after talking with tech support and doing a speed test on my wifi it was determined that my upload speed is too slow so I can't update the firmware.
