This new app is terrible!!! I can't figure it out.  I've worked in the tech and software field for many years and this upgraded app is not user friendly.   Is there a was to revert back?   I have 10 different modes and schedules. The new app doesn't allow this.  Please arlo fix this issue or lose customers.

Arlo has been luring customers to change over to use their new UI experience without fair warning of lost features or the their no revert policy.

Although arlo has since made a commitment to enable back custom modes it will likely take another 12months based on arlo past performance.

If your not prepared to wait then you should look for a better brand to suit your needs.

We’ve heard your feedback, and the development team is working hard to deliver a similar custom modes experience that legacy users have come to enjoy while maintaining all the new improvements and features included in the latest version of the Arlo Secure App. We will keep the community up to date as we approach the release of this highly anticipated feature.

Thank you all for your continued feedback in helping make the Arlo experience the best it can be!

Do you have an ETA on this release?  I'm not gonna wait months before I end up switching to a different brand of cameras.

As of right now I do not have an ETA, however I will keep the community updated.

Pls let it be soon, or let us revert back to the old app where everything was working!

Well Arlo!!!  Last update was January.  We are now into April.   Any word on the modes?

I wanted to add that there's been no warning of lost features at all. (You're using the word 'fair' in 'without fair warning of lost features', which suggests that there has been some, although inadequate, which clearly isn't the case.)

@Edinburgh_lad1,

The ‘without fair warning’ quote I made is based on Arlo’s kb articles where customers are informed of the new features of the advertised product and so rely on their intelligence to detect the missing ramifications.

Cheers.

What I meant was that you'd made a good point that there is no warning that users are about to lose features like customised schedules or a new subscription needed for a second site. I find it quite deceitful of this company to have promised 'lots of new features' with the new app and no mention of others being taken away.

With Trump's tariffs, interesting times for Arlo, too, as all is made in China. I suspect more price increases for customers...

What exactly are those “improvements”? I don’t see any. All I see is buggy features
