As an added feature, can you PLEASE put an option for users to only receive ONE notification per motion detection / recording?   Currently, you receive a pop-up notification when motion (or people, vehicles, etc...) is detected and another pop-up notification when the recording for that particular event completes.   It is super annoying.  Can you add a feature that allows the user to choose to get the notification at the time motion is first detected or when the recording is complete?   That option is not available today and thus if notifications are turned on you will get at least 2 notifications for every event detected.

What you are experiencing is by design. I can provide this info for future consideration but I also want to make sure you aren't having any additional issues with the notifications. 

 

By design you should receive the first audible Push notification  and once the motion is identified/processed you will receive a second non audible push notification that replaces the original with the image & animated preview/label etc. 

 

Can you verify this is the case?

That is correct.  I would like to have the option to only receive the first notification.  I do not want nor need the second notification.

And just to clarify, what you described is exactly what I currently experience.  I would like to only see the initial notification letting me know that motion was detected and no follow-up notification for the same event.
