I have a large footprint and cannot get good coverage with one base station centrally located. Is there a way to add another base station to increase the coverage area?

@Steve_Hick,

Yes you can, but since the Arlo base station must connect to your router through an ethernet cable and be able to connect to AC power, you will need to do one of a few things.

1) If your router has an unused ethernet port, you could run a cable to the location of the other base or connect to a switch.

2) Use a wifi extender with an ethernet port.

3) use a powerline adapter with an ethernet port.

4) the best way in the long run but the most expensive way is to use a mesh network router with satellites that have ethernet ports.

The ethernet connectivity is easy. Just wondering if 2 base stations will work together in the same account with multiple cameras.

@Steve_Hick,

Yes, At one time I had three base stations on one account, (luckily, now down to two). The only real problem was that the base stations had to be armed/disarmed separately. Other than that, all the cameras show up in the app and on the web client and work fine.
