I've had my Arlo's up for about a month. A week ago or so (seems like it was just after "Smart" feature was announced) my Arlo's are being activated far easier by things in the periphery of the image (cars going by, etc.). I've checked and the camera angle hasn't changed, so I'm stumped. Odd that I'd suddenly need the features of the "smart" service to fix a problem that didn't exist before the smart service existed.

Hi valerama,

 

If the Motion Detection seems to be going off more than you like you can try and adjust the sensitivity down by 1-2 and Re-Test.

I'm aware of that. It just seems really odd that after more than a month my cameras suddenly became more sensitive right after the 'smart' service was offered. Of course, the ones I'm concerned with are outside and as the seasons change the lighting changes, too.
