Low Battery already

Three days ago my son bought me the Arlo HD Security Camera 100% wire-free indoor/outdoor system comes with three camera, the problem is the batteries are very low already so they go offline, the cameras are inside, how can this happen so quickly?  I shouldn't have to change the batteries every day.  Reading some of the post replies regarding the battery issues were dted in 2015 that the issue was being resolved, its 2017 and don't sound like the battery issue has been resolved?  can someone help me?  Please

the most common causes, assuming the batteries are good, are they aren't seated in right, or all 4 aren't making proper contact.

I know when I first got my cams in Jan I played with them quite a bit and ate up the batteries more than since.

I average about 5x 120 sec recordings/24 hr period on most cams and bring down the level 1-2% per day

Don't forget that the spec usage for battery life is 5 minutes per day or less of both recording as well as live view. The amount t of time used in setting up the system, configuring and just playing around all gets in there. Pretty much everyone has short battery life at first due to these issues.
