Pretty basic stuff.  I'm surprised this release got past QA.

Is this occurring with android or iOS?

IOS for me, it’s extremely frustrating. You can’t even manually resize it, it’s like the bottom half is frozen.

Hi. Has anyone else noticed their recorded video feed not maximizing or expanding when you press the two diagonal arrows at the top right after pressing play.  It goes to landscape mode but doesn’t expand or maximize the video. It works fine for live video, just not the recorded video. This just started happening for me on the new release of the app on my iPhone 17 pro with iOS 26.1.

Which iOS version do you have on your phone? And which cameras are you viewing the recordings from when the shappens? I'm trying to replicate this On 6.6.4 and iOS 26.1, but it's not occurring.

Can you provide quick steps or path you're taking when this happens?

FWIW, this happens on my iPhone 12, currently running iOS 18.7.2.  The app version is 6.6.4 (16144).

It does not happen when livestreaming, only when viewing recordings.

And it happens with every camera I tried - Pro 2, Pro 6, Ultra, Ultra 2, Essential Gen 2,  AVD1001, Pan Tilt, Wired Floodlight.

The problem exists with all my cameras (Pro 5, Essential 3 PTZ) and also with the new APP version 6.6.6. (iPhone 12 and 16 with IOS 26.1)

I just started experiencing the same problem and I also have iPhone 17 pro. The video does not fill the screen in landscape mode.

People are reporting they can’t view recordings in full screen when rotating their phones to landscape mode. So far this appears to be a problem with iPhone 17 pro. Did the recent update cause this problem?

I do have a partial workaround, in case that helps anybody;

1. View the list of feed videos in portrait mode.

2. Click on one of the videos in portrait mode.

3. Swipe left or right one or two times to select a different video

4. Then press the full screen double arrow, and full screen seems to work again.

5. Then when in full screen mode you can swipe again and all videos can be viewed in correct full screen resolution.

I had high hopes for 6.6.6 but alas no landscape resizing.  iFone 13 - iOS 18.7.2.

I guess the release number should have been a clue.

ARGH!

Not sure when it first started, but Arlo is aware of the problem.

same issue here. Even after updating with 6.6.6 still did not fix. Workaround does work , by swiping open feed to next one and select fullscreen then it allows all feed to be viewed in fullscreen.  just annoying to have to do this. pls fix soon.  Arlo techs seem to not be able to replicate but many users are experiencing , figures
