Is there a way to have automated scheduled original Arlo wifi camera to record at specific times?

Example: I want an outdoor original Arlo wifi camera to record a short ten seconds video at midnight or every hour daily. I still want to keep motion detections enabled too.
Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. 🙂

If you are using the new "Feed" and "Dashboard" interface, then this automation will make a recording:
You'd need 24 of these to get a recording every hour - possible but tedious.
If you see "Library" in your app menu, you'd need to migrate to "Feed". There are disadvantages, so post back for followup before you do that.

My old Arlo accounts are still on the old design. I haven't migrated nor do I want to.

Then your Arlo app won't do what you are asking. I guess you could look into IFTTT, etc.
Though at some point you will be migrated to "Feed", and after that happens you can use the app to do this.

Darn and thank you for the quick answers. When is Arlo supposed to force migration on legacy users like me? I assume this new design will still work with legacy Arlo products like original model.

I think they wanted to have everyone migrated two years ago, but the many issues stalled that out.
It has been happening for a while now now, you'll find several posts from folks that said they were migrated without asking to be.

Still lots of issues today I assume. I'll wait until I am forced. I remember making a new account to invite an user, but it turned out blank. I had to contact Arlo support to get it fixed (downgrade back to legacy). I don't want to go through that again. I still see that migration prompt. Even Arlo support guy said don't touch it if I want to stay on legacy design.
