Installed New Batteries; System Says Cameras Need New Batteries

Sorry if there's a couple of blank entries from me. First time I believe I've used this forum and for some reason the system isn't acting like normal boards.

Batteries needed replacing in cameras. We bought some rechargeable batteries on line. One set are in a camera and it's working fine. Installed some of the same type, "fully charged", into another camer and we get the message that we need to put new batteries in that same camera. Any clue as to what's going on? Would definitely appreciate whatever any of you can offer.
